The state of the larger part of the world at present is to be other than what it is.  Consequently, the surviving optimists must work very diligently to restore the world from what it has slipped into back to what it is.  Unfortunately this state of affairs is a breeding ground for contented pessimists who are happy to remain as they are, wallowing in all their negativity.  Even the most upstanding in these times are tempted and fallen unknowingly into hopelessness creating a rough army that is ever growing, heedless of what they are.  A shadow has fallen and preparations must be made against this growing threat that promises oncoming obliteration unless we can yet stop it in its tracks.

It will take a strong army of optimists to see clearly and wage a war of restoration to cast out the blank form of contentedness and instill in its place a caring that will directly combat the apathy of pessimism.  The problem of optimism though lies in that tendency to use it as a lens and carefully avoid the righteous indignation that will be our call to arms.  We must therefore train our optimism to action so that it will see what is and swiftly and surely cut out all that cannot be leaving only that world we want to live in.

The blindness of pessimism lies in the constant doubt clouding out the potential that is the lens through which the optimist views the world.  That is what we would fight against with the great sword of optimistic and joyful example.  For so long as you are willing to die for that sacred principal of the world as it is, that very principal will persist.  Though men may laugh and scoff and turn all the armies of the world against us, as long as but one man is willing to stand up in passionate defense of this sacred idea it will live on in this eternal last stand!

We may find that tomorrow we will have become martyrs.  We may not live to wake another morn and realize that we have lost the fight.  But so long as men have blood in their veins, let it boil with the fiery passion of our cause!  Let our cry be heard to the far reaches of the earth as the battle cry that will call to arms all those who are yet living with breath in their lungs to protest, strength in their arms to swing a sword, and legs upon which to stand in the way of the enemy!

We are all that now stands between this and the black oblivion that encroaches.  I ask you now with all sincerity as but a soldier willing to stand and die for the cause: join me now in our hopeless fight.  Now is the time for us to band together so we can live and die by the sword.  Now is our last chance to make a stand in the battle we will surely loose.  Now is our opportunity to leave a legacy of truth that will illuminate the world as it is for those who come after so that perhaps through our crimson martyrdom we may light the flame of optimism in those hearts we leave behind.  Join me now in our fight for freedom and we may yet change it all!
